WELCOME to my blog...A Clean Peace! I've been doing housecleaning professionally for quite a few years now and am continually learning about new techniques and products. I have my Masters' Degree in Education and love doing research and writing.
Taking care of your home is a learned trait, so no matter what condition your home is in now, I will walk you through easy steps, explaining the whys and hows along the way.
My mother was a working mother who actually had a "cleaning lady" come every week. I remember distinctly seeing her rush around the night before tidying up and cleaning...with my father saying, "Emmeline is coming tomorrow, WHY are you cleaning everything now?" Her reply was,"I can't let her see this mess!"
I never learned the routines for cleaning growing up, nor did I learn ways to control clutter. My parents were both pack rats - my dad saved everything because "you might need it someday." I grew up becoming a pack rat as well and it has taken(and still is taking) strict discipline to "let go". I'll be honest with you, I'm not 100% there yet. It feels almost like being an alcoholic...it isn't difficult to get started again.
In my blog I'll be showing techniques, products, critiques and some fun things as well.

PS Remember back in your school days when there were certain teachers/professors who resonated with you and you learned easily with them? I hope that will happen for you within my blog. We all learn differently and I've collected bits and pieces from many sources for my needs.
